My car; a 1978 Ford Capri in July 1980 outside the Anglers Rest in Newport Co. Mayo on the way to see Jackson Browne, Thin Lizzy & others at the first Castlebar music festival. The car window was broken when thieves tried to steal the car in Killiney, Dessie my brother and a carpenter cut out the wooden window replacement as a temporary measure because a glass replacement was not only shaped like a kidney but cost as much.
